Indeed, here is the winning troop from Ballantrae, having followed the other troop’s map to the sweeties the fastest! In the dying light of Glenapp forest….

Today we hid a packet of sweets in our new  patrols then left the other patrol clues to find them. Our group found the sweets and the other patrol  got confused with our instructions and dident find them we had to show them were they were, it was fun. 

Scouts

We had our first night back at scouts since camp it was good to see everyone again and talk about camp , we went into our patrols and did some map reading we got 5 6 digit map reference and a map of south Ayrshire and we had to find them on the map , after that we were give coordinates that took us somewhere in Ballantrae ours took us to the harbour we got there first then we had to light a fire in our patrols so we could toast marshmallows

Culzean beaver/cub camp ⛺️🏰

Our Grampian nights scout camp was a huge success and although our weekly scout meetings don’t start back till Tuesday we decided to squeeze in a beaver/cub camp before the end of summer, so here we are at culzean castle at our medieval themed camp , today we have explored the grounds of Culzean and we are now enjoying our camp fire and songs !

Zoe and I are at a beaver and cub camp and we are sitting at a campfire singing a song while our bananas and Nutella are cooking on the fire. Later we are also going to have hot chocolate and marshmallows. It will be really good!!
